“Originally there is not a single thing—where could dust alight?”
Originally not one thing—where could dust alight? If the mind doesn’t cling, dust has nowhere to stain—Chan sweeping of marks. Not denying the world; loosening stickiness. Today: when critique stings, ask if the wound is the fact or the clinging “I.”
